Rhythmbox development discontinued?
I just “heard” on IRC that Rhythmbox development will be discontinued and version 0.12 will the their final release. Can anyone confirm this? The probably will make GNOME based distros adopt another music player and GNOME only has one more: Banshee. (unless new developers set in or its forked…)
I guess Banshee stepping in would make some people unhappy since it’s developed in mono. I find banshee a better music player then Rhythmbox so I think it wouldn’t be so bad after all. And I’m really not worried about Microsoft atacking Linux trought mono untill proved otherwise 
.

Some developers don’t want to let development cease so it’s not certain where this will end.
