Here’s a little tip for speeding up loading of websites. In Firefox and derivates install NoScript extension. What I’m going to say will make some people a little mad. Noscript will block all scripts by default including google analytics, which I find *very* slow to load, so it slows down sites loading speed.

You can add exceptions for the trusted websites that you don’t mind waiting all the scripts to load.

Of course NoScript is mostly aimed at security and you’ll be amazed with the amount of (most of the time) useless scripts websites load all the time. With Noscript you get extra security and extra speed.

For people with slow connections and bandwidth limits it can also be a small help.

I also use google analytics but I won’t be mad if you block on my blog
